Youth Aerial Yoga (Ages 7-12: All Levels)

About this event

This playful and fun class teaches kids to work through ongoing movement with stretches, balancing skills, strength, flexibility, body-awareness and coordination. This dynamic class introduces kids to circus work and body art movement, for those ready this class will introduce basic flips and tricks. Kids aerial yoga is FUN, playful, and a creative way for kids to build accomplishment skills while exercising their mind and connecting with their body. Classes will include stretching, strength building, working up to tricks and often some interactive games using the body and mind! 60 min class. PLEASE NOTE: If your child is aged 6 you can bring them to attend the class but we would require the parent to stay next to their child for guidance and support. The body awareness of a 6 year old is still developing and having a guardian there to assist, especially with some inversions or climbs will give them the support and confidence, they need! No previous experience is necessary for this class! LETS FLY!! NOTE: Please arrive 10-15 minutes early to check your child into class with their teacher at the SkyDeck on Trilogy's rooftop. * * * Trilogy Sanctuary Yoga Studio is located in the heart of San Diego in La Jolla. Trilogy Address: 7650 Girard Ave, Suite 400 La Jolla, CA 92037 Please take the elevator to the Rooftop (PH) for classes in the Outdoor Yoga Dome or Outdoor Sky deck. Please take the elevator to Level 3 for classes in the Moon Room or Earth Room. Check in at your studio with the instructor. **Please arrive at least 15 minutes early to all yoga classes.
