- ➤ County public health officials urge anyone who had direct contact with one bat that later tested positive for rabies—found Saturday near White Oak Villas or with a bat discovered Sunday at San Diego Zoo Safari Park—to call the county at 619-692-8499 and seek postexposure treatment, stressing residents avoid handling bats.
