- ➤ San Marcos Unified will expand its dual language program to Woodland Park Middle School this fall after a six-year run at Twin Oaks Elementary. The program teaches half the day in English and half in Spanish—helping students earn the state seal of biliteracy and prepare for further language studies in high school. The Coast News Group
HEALTH NEWS
- ➤ Anthem Blue Cross and Scripps Health have extended their contract retroactive to January 1 so that patients can receive in-network care until September 30th, 2026—repairing a gap that left over 125,000 policyholders without care. San Marcos resident Stephanie Hebert said her family had to change primary care providers because of the lost coverage and now must switch back as negotiations continue. The Coast News Group
