- ➤ Del Mar City Council voted 3 to 0 last week to support Our Neighborhood Voices, a ballot initiative that would let local governments control housing decisions and override state laws. The developer of the Seaside Ridge affordable housing project demanded a city vote within 60 days on its plan near (Dog Beach) after nearly three years of disputes. Voice of San Diego
