SAN DIEGO, CA — Happiness is a new theatre, a talented cast, and a little help from your friends! Trinity Theatre Company invites San Diego families to experience You're a Good Man, Charlie Brown, the charming musical comedy based on Charles M. Schulz's beloved Peanuts comic strip, playing November 20–22, 2026, at Trinity's new Miramar theatre.

Featuring young performers ages 8–18, the production follows Charlie Brown, Snoopy, Lucy, Linus, Sally, and the rest of the Peanuts gang through the familiar joys and frustrations of growing up. From flying kites and playing baseball to navigating friendships and discovering what happiness really means, this delightful musical reminds audiences that life's simplest moments are often its most meaningful.

Directed by Megan Goyette, the production features memorable musical numbers including "My Blanket and Me," "Suppertime," "The Baseball Game," and "Happiness."

The production also represents an exciting chapter for Trinity Theatre Company as the organization continues welcoming audiences into its new home in Miramar.

"One of the most rewarding parts of theatre is watching young artists discover what they're capable of," said Sean Boyd, Executive Artistic Director of Trinity Theatre Company. "Charlie Brown is a wonderful reminder that we don't need to be perfect to belong. That's a message we want every young performer and every audience member to carry with them."

With four performances featuring two casts, audiences have multiple opportunities to enjoy this family-friendly musical while supporting the next generation of San Diego theatre artists.
