About this event
Join Baroque masters William Christie and Paul Agnew for a vivid program of Monteverdi’s finest madrigals for mixed voices, including a performance of the iconic Il Combattimento.
Christie will lead the continuo from the harpsichord, while Agnew will direct and sing with a vocal ensemble to reveal Monteverdi’s transformative power and enduring musical innovation.
