About this event

You spend so much time working on your game. When was the last time someone helped you work through everything that comes with it?

The pressure. The expectations. The comparisons. The fear of letting someone down. The things you think about that don't always make it into conversation.

We know there's more to your experience than what happens in the game and we think it's time we talked about it.

This isn't another basketball camp. And it's definitely not another lecture.

It's an afternoon created for YOU. And it's completely FREE.

MEET YOUR FEATURED GUEST: KALEB JOSEPH

Former ESPN Top 10 point guard recruit, Syracuse University Division I basketball player, mental health advocate, and founder of The Self Help Tour .

Kaleb knows what it's like to carry big expectations at a young age. He's experienced the pressure, the attention, and the challenges of competing at an elite level.

Now he's bringing his national Self Help Tour to San Diego to share what he's learned and have real conversations with young athletes about the things that matter.

WHAT WE'RE TALKING ABOUT

• Pressure and expectations: Navigating the demands of competitive sports.

• Confidence and identity: Knowing your worth regardless of your performance.

• Mental health: The things athletes experience but don't always talk about.

• Setbacks and uncertainty: Building tools for the season and life beyond sports.

CREATED WITH YOU IN MIND

Hosted by Heather Cleaves , founder of The Heather Experience, author of What Comes Home , youth sports storyteller and advocate, and mother of two, including a former competitive basketball player.

Heather has spent years listening to young athletes, telling their stories, and reminding them that who they are will always matter more than how they perform.

Together with Allie Chapman, MSW , director, sport social worker, founder of Mind Body Athletes, and mother of six athletes, they are creating an opportunity for young people to feel heard, ask real questions, and prepare for the season ahead.

Whether you're chasing the next level, finding your place in the game, or simply figuring things out, this room is for you.

You don't need to have everything figured out. You don't need to have the right questions.

Just come as you are.

Because you're enough and you deserve to start this upcoming season knowing it.

ONE WEEKEND. TWO DAYS. ONE MISSION.

To reach young athletes sooner and help athletes and the families who love them head into the season better equipped for what it may ask of them.

Saturday prepares the people around the athlete.

Sunday prepares the athlete.

Because the season asks something of everyone.
