Books for the Holidays

About this event

These small 3” x 3” books make great gifts for the Holiday season. Learn basic book construction without sewing! Paper folding, cutting and collage are the key parts using gelli prints as a collage source. The signatures (pages) will be blank with additional small prints which make these books great for writing or drawing.

What students are required to bring to class :

Healing(cutting) Matt 12” wide or more; Single blade cutting tool; Metal ruler with cork backing 12” or more; Small scissors; Small jar Acrylic matt medium; 1/2 “ or smaller acrylic brush for gluing; Any gelli plate prints that you want to recycle.

Please Note: There is a $15 Materials Fee due to Helen Shafer Garcia at time of class.

Refunds (minus a $25 administration fee) or credit transfers to another class are available up to 14 days before the start date; after that, refunds or credits are not offered. For multi-session classes such as ceramics, missed days cannot be made up or prorated. Please bring a refillable water bottle, and if you need a snack, enjoy it in designated areas.
