Stay Connected to Yourself This Holiday Season

An Experiential Workshop for Nervous System Regulation, Gentle Somatic Practices & Sound Healing

Learn to listen to your body, honor your boundaries, and stay connected to yourself throughout the holiday season.

About This Workshop

The holiday season can bring moments of joy, connection, and celebration. It can also bring family expectations, complicated emotions, and the quiet pressure to put everyone else's needs before our own.

Sometimes, we find ourselves saying yes when we mean no, pushing through when our bodies are asking us to slow down, or losing touch with what we need while caring for others.

What if this holiday season, you made a little more room for yourself, too?

Join us for a gentle, trauma-informed workshop designed to help you better understand your nervous system, reconnect with your body, and explore practical tools for navigating the holidays with greater awareness and compassion.

Together, we'll explore nervous system regulation, personal boundaries, gentle somatic movement, restorative breathing, and sound healing.

Unlike more activating breathwork experiences, this workshop offers a slower, more restorative approach, with space to learn, reflect, move gently, and rest.

There's no pressure to feel or experience anything in particular. Just a welcoming space to reconnect with yourself, at your own pace.

What You'll Learn & Experience

Understanding Your Nervous System

Our bodies often communicate with us in ways we don't immediately recognize.

Explore how your nervous system responds to stress, expectations, and everyday experiences. Learn to recognize signals of activation, shutdown, and regulation, and discover gentle ways to respond to your body's needs with curiosity and compassion.

Honoring Your Needs & Boundaries

During the holidays, it can be especially easy to prioritize others while setting aside our own needs.

Through gentle reflection and self-awareness, we'll explore how familiar relationship patterns and expectations can affect our connection with ourselves.

You'll be invited to recognize your limits, listen to your needs, and explore boundaries that support your emotional well-being.

Restorative Breathing & Sound Healing

Slow down and settle into gentle breathing practices accompanied by soothing sound healing, creating a peaceful space to rest, recharge, and reconnect with yourself.

Rather than intensive breathwork, this experience focuses on slow, comfortable breathing techniques that support nervous system regulation, grounding, and present-moment awareness.

Through gentle guidance, you'll be invited to notice your breath, soften areas of tension, and explore what it feels like to simply pause without pressure or expectations. As calming sounds fill the space, allow yourself to rest, listen to your body's needs, and experience a moment of stillness and connection.

Gentle Somatic Movement & Expression

Reconnect with your body through accessible, body-based practices that encourage awareness, movement, and the gentle release of physical tension.

These may include:

- Gentle stretching and movement

- Light shaking and rhythmic movement

- Toning and vocal expression

- Free-form movement or dancing

- Grounding and body-awareness exercises

These practices are not about pushing through discomfort or creating an intense emotional experience. Instead, they offer opportunities to notice what your body needs and explore movement in ways that feel supportive.

Every activity is optional, and you're always welcome to modify, observe, or rest.

What This Session Will Include

• A warm welcome and gentle introduction to nervous system awareness.

• Practical somatic regulation tools to recognize and respond to your body's signals.

• Guided reflection on personal needs, boundaries, and self-connection.

• Gentle somatic movement, stretching, and grounding exercises.

• Slow, restorative breathing practices.

What to Bring

Everything you need for the workshop will be provided.

Simply bring water, wear comfortable clothing that allows you to move freely, and come with an openness to exploring what feels supportive for you.

No previous experience with somatic practices, breathwork, or movement is necessary.

Every practice is invitational. You're always welcome to move at your own pace, take breaks, or simply observe.

A Gentle Invitation to You

You don't have to wait until you're overwhelmed to begin caring for yourself.

You deserve moments of rest, space to honor your needs, and opportunities to connect with others without losing connection with yourself.

This holiday season, we invite you to make a little space for you.

To slow down. To listen. To breathe. To reconnect.

Come as you are. Move at your own pace. Take what feels supportive and leave what doesn't.

We look forward to sharing this space with you.

AGENDA

12:30 PM : Nervous System Awareness

We’ll begin by gently settling into the present moment and creating a warm, welcoming space to slow down and reconnect with yourself. Through simple education and guided awareness, you’ll explore how your nervous system responds to everyday stress, expectations, and emotional experiences.

You’ll be invited to notice your body’s signals, recognize signs of activation or shutdown, and learn gentle ways to support regulation. This time is about listening to your body with curiosity and compassion, without pressure to change or fix anything. ✨

1:00 PM : Boundaries & Gentle Somatic Movement

We’ll explore how holiday expectations, relationships, and familiar patterns can sometimes lead us to put our own needs aside. Through gentle reflection, you’ll be invited to recognize your limits, honor your needs, and explore boundaries that support your emotional well-being.

We’ll also introduce accessible somatic practices, including gentle stretching, rhythmic movement, light shaking, and grounding exercises. These practices offer opportunities to reconnect with your body, ease physical tension, and express yourself in ways that feel comfortable. Every activity is optional, and you’re encouraged to move at your own pace. ✨

1:30 PM : Restorative Breathing & Sound Healing

We’ll transition into a slower, more restful experience through gentle breathing practices and soothing sound healing. Unlike more activating breathwork, this experience focuses on comfortable, natural breathing to support grounding, relaxation, and connection with the present moment.

As you settle into the calming sounds, you’ll be invited to simply rest, notice how your body feels, and allow yourself a moment of stillness. There is nothing you need to achieve or release, just an opportunity to slow down and reconnect with yourself. ✨

1:50 PM : Reflection & Community Closing

We’ll close our time together with gentle reflection, allowing space to notice what you’ve learned, experienced, or discovered about your own needs and boundaries. If you feel comfortable, you’ll have the opportunity to share insights and connect with others in our welcoming community.

Together, we’ll revisit simple grounding and nervous system regulation tools that you can carry into the holiday season and everyday life. Our hope is that you leave feeling more connected to yourself, with practical ways to honor your needs and care for your well-being beyond the workshop. ✨
