Wienerschnitzel & Canine Companions Fundraiser in Oceanside

About this event

Ahead of Veterans Day, Wienerschnitzel is proud to announce a collaboration with Canine Companions, a national 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to providing service dogs to veterans, adults, and children with disabilities. On Tuesday, November 10th, Wienerschnitzel’s Oceanside restaurant at 624 N. Coast Hwy – located minutes from Canine Companion’s Southwest Training Center – will donate 20% of all day food and drink sales to the organization, supporting their mission to provide service dogs to those in need. *Note: Those participating in the fundraiser must verbally mention the fundraiser and/or show the flyer upon checkout.

In addition to the all-day fundraiser, Canine Companions will have volunteers, service dogs, and service dogs in training (aka the cutest puppies ever!) on-site to engage with those dining at Wienerschnitzel during lunch, from 11:00am – 1:30pm on the 10th. Join us for an afternoon filled with hot dogs, corn dogs, and service dogs, all for a good cause!

Since its inception, Canine Companions has provided hundreds of service dogs to U.S. veterans across the country, completely free of charge. These service dogs not only provide much-needed physical assistance, but they also empower veterans to regain independence, pride, positivity, and hope.

A family-owned company serving American food since 1961, Wienerschnitzel is equally as passionate about supporting veterans and those who fight for our country. Just a few months ago, the world’s largest hot dog chain opened its very first location at a naval base within San Diego’s Main Navy Exchange on Callagan Hwy. The brand also plans to expand to additional bases in the future.

As this year’s Veterans Day lines up with Wienerschnitzel’s fan-favorite Wiener Wednesday promotion, all guests who dine on the 11th can enjoy four chili dogs for just $4. This deal is available every Wednesday of the month!
