Salute to Paws 5K & Gratitude Festival for Dogs

About this event

A WHOLE DAY DEDICATED TO SAYING “THANK YOU” TO YOUR DOG. They greet us like we’ve been gone for years – even when it’s only been five minutes. They get us outside, make us laugh, comfort us on the hard days and somehow always seem to know when we need them most. Our dogs give us their unconditional love every single day. Salute to Paws is our day to give some of that love right back. Join Shelter to Soldier for our 3rd Annual Salute to Paws 5K Run/Walk & Gratitude Festival for Dogs – a one-of-a-kind celebration created for the dogs who make our lives better simply by being in them. Start the morning with a scenic, dog-friendly 5K Run/Walk through the rolling hills of Encinitas – pup optional! – then cross the finish line and keep the celebration going at our Gratitude Festival for Dogs. Plenty of opportunities to make memories with your best friend

And an entire festival built around celebrating THEM! Bring your dog. Bring your family. Bring your friends. Run, walk, wag, eat, play and spend the day celebrating the unconditional love, companionship, laughter and joy our dogs bring into our lives. And while you’re celebrating your own best friend, you’ll be helping other dogs find an extraordinary purpose of their own. Every registration helps support Shelter to Soldier’s lifesaving programs, giving rescue dogs new beginnings and preparing them for lives of purpose, service and companionship alongside the Veterans, active-duty military members and communities we serve.
